Since January I have been studying for my certification to become a health coach. It is the most interesting 11 months of learning that I have experienced. Through my life I have tried every diet that comes out. I have lost the same 20 pounds over and over again. In this course we have gone through many of the diets I have tried and I have tried them again, Raw, Paleo, Keto, Vegan...... After nearly a year of learning over 100 different dietary theories I am really fascinated by the blood type diet. My Mother has heart disease, my Father has survived lymphoma and is now struggling with diabetes. When I go to the doctor and they ask my risk factors I have always told them of my parents but have quickly commented that their disease is lifestyle related. After reading the Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type I am thinking their disease may not just be lifestyle but primarily their diets. It is really fascinating to look at the food lists along with the activities and personality traits. It could be a coincidence, like a horoscope but I am going to give it a try. I am blood type A- and I have always felt better when I eat a lot of vegetables and avoid nightshades and meat. I will let you know how it goes.
